Why people choose a roll up door
The barrel sits above the opening, either inside the garage or in a headbox, so the door never travels outwards. On a short driveway that is the difference between a door you can use and a door you cannot.
- No outward swing, so you can park right up to the door
- Full opening width and height retained
- Insulated foam filled slat or single skin slat
- Manual or electric, with a manual release on every motor
- Wide colour range including anthracite, white, brown and wood effect
- Typical lead time 7 to 14 working days
Every variant we supply
Insulated roller garage door
Foam filled aluminium slat. Warmer, quieter and stiffer in the wind. What we fit on most homes where the garage is used for more than storage.
Non insulated roller door
Single skin slat. The lowest cost way into a roller door, and the sensible choice for an unheated garage that only holds bins, bikes and tools.
Manual roller door
Spring assisted, lifted by hand. From £789* fitted with free removal of the old door. No power needed at the opening.
Electric roller door
Tubular motor in the barrel, two handsets and a manual release for power cuts. Battery backup available as an option.
Domestic garage roll up door
Compact barrel that fits inside most existing openings, keeping full drive through width and height. Ideal for short driveways.
Commercial and industrial roller shutter
Heavier galvanised steel slats, stronger guides and higher duty cycle gear for retail frontages, workshops and loading bays.
Domestic, commercial and industrial
A domestic roll up door and a warehouse shutter share a principle and almost nothing else. Slat gauge, guide section, motor duty rating and safety devices all step up as the opening and the cycle count grow.
We quote all three from the same team, so a landlord with a house and a unit is dealing with one company. Every door we install is covered by our 24/7 call out.
