Who we are
Overhead Door Company is a garage door and commercial door business based at 31 Mount Street, Dromore, Co. Down. We are responsible for the personal information you send us through this website.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through one of our forms, we collect:
- your name;
- your phone number;
- your email address, if you choose to give it;
- the service you are interested in;
- anything you write in the message box, such as details of your door or your location.
If you phone or email us directly, we will also have the details you give us in that call or email.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey or visit, give you a quote and carry out any work you ask us to do. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to contact you, and that we need the information to take steps towards, and carry out, any work we agree with you.
We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for marketing mailing lists.
Where it goes
When you submit a form, your details are sent to us by an email notification service and saved in a secure database so that enquiries are not lost. Only Overhead Door Company uses this information to deal with your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any work that follows, including any records we need to keep for that work. After that, they are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your information.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
